Car does not start

The harness is installed and ready to go, but the engine does not crank? Here are a few things to check.

1. Does the fuel pump come on? (you should be able to hear the pump run for a few seconds once you turn the ignition ON)

YES - Good, we have power to the ECU. NO - No power to the ECU.

YES: If we have power to the ECU, then the next thing is to check spark and fuel. Check if there is spark by pulling out a coilpack and inserting a spark plug into it. Ground the spark plug on a headshield, LET IT GO and crank the engine. If spark is seen, we have ignition. Fuel is easy to check as well. When removing a spark plug, have a look at it and see if it is wet with fuel.

If there is no spark or no fuel detected, please contact us and we'll provide you with more detailed tests.

NO: No power to the ECU (no fuel pump). If the ECU is not powered, there is a simple issue somewhere in the car. The key is to find it.

Here is a list of things to check:
- Make sure all plugs are in tight and secure.
- Make sure the Battery is charged.
- Check engine bay fuse box for blown fuses.

Good luck.
