Driftmotion 2JZ-GTE VVTi ETCSi Drive By Wire Delete.

This item is to make the drive by wire throttle body on 2JZ-GTE VVTi engines (that have a ETCSi logo on them) into a fully mechanical thottle body.

These engines are commonly found in the 97+ Aristo 2JZ-GTE.

This item is NOT intended for use with the original ECU when the stepper motor in the throttle body is connected.

A gear inside the side cover of the throttle body should be removed to disable the electric motor control.

Using this item will disable the stock idle control function, but there is a factory throttle stop to manually adjust the idle.

We are not responsible for any damage that may occur if this is used with the stock throttle control motor still functioning.

We recommend using a small amount of removable Loctite on the set screw.

The throttle sensor and throttle body is NOT included, this part slides on your sensor and tightens in place with the supplied set screw.
